Plymouth Argyle have confirmed that Nigeria-eligible forward Owen Oseni will remain at the club for next season after including him on their retained list following the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
The 22-year-old striker has emerged as one of the brightest young attacking talents at Home Park after an impressive breakthrough season that attracted attention from Championship clubs and teams abroad.
Argyle officially released their retained list this week, confirming Oseni remains under contract alongside several key first-team players as manager Tom Cleverley prepares for another push for promotion next season.

Despite not always being a regular starter, Oseni enjoyed a productive campaign in League One, registering 10 goals and five assists in 33 appearances across all competitions. His performances became increasingly important during the second half of the season as Plymouth narrowly missed out on a play-off place.
The former St Mirren striker joined Plymouth last summer after spells in Scotland and England, signing a long-term contract with the club. Since then, his pace, movement and finishing ability have made him one of the club’s most promising attacking options.
