Alex Iwobi delivered another impressive performance for Fulham after leading all players in chances created during the first half of their Premier League clash against Manchester United.

The Super Eagles star was one of Fulham’s brightest players at Craven Cottage as he constantly found space and caused problems for the United defence. His passing and movement helped Fulham create several dangerous attacks before the break. Fulham were one of the better sides in midfield during large parts of the game and created a number of opportunities against United.

Iwobi has become a key player for Fulham since joining the club and once again showed why he remains one of the most important creative midfielders in the team. The Nigerian international was involved in Fulham’s attacking moves and helped drive the team forward whenever they won possession.

The match eventually ended 1-1 after Fulham took the lead through an own goal before Manchester United grabbed a late equaliser through Matheus Cunha. Despite not getting a goal or assist, Iwobi’s overall display was one of the standout performances of the afternoon.

The 30-year-old has enjoyed a strong start to the season and continues to prove his value to manager Alvaro Arbeloa. His experience, work rate and creativity have made him one of Fulham’s most reliable performers.

As for Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle, Iwobi’s form will be encouraging ahead of the upcoming AFCON qualifiers. Nigeria will need experienced players capable of controlling games and creating chances, and the Fulham midfielder is showing exactly that in the Premier League.

With performances like this, Iwobi remains one of the first names Nigerian fans expect to see in the Super Eagles squad whenever important matches come around.
