Super Eagles striker Akor Adams has reportedly reached a clear understanding with Sevilla over his future, with both player and club agreeing that any potential summer transfer will only happen if the right offer arrives.

The Nigerian forward enjoyed an outstanding 2025/26 campaign, establishing himself as Sevilla’s leading striker and one of the club’s standout performers. His impressive displays have inevitably attracted interest from clubs across Europe, placing his future under the spotlight ahead of the new season.

According to reports from Spain, Sevilla have informed Adams that they are prepared to listen to offers because of the club’s ongoing financial situation. However, the La Liga side will only sanction a sale if an interested club meets their valuation, believed to be in the region of €20 million to €25 million.

Despite the growing speculation, Adams has no intention of forcing an exit. The 26-year-old remains happy at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán and has made it clear that his focus is on Sevilla unless a move presents the right sporting opportunity.

“I have not heard anything about that, but this is the transfer window and there will always be many rumours. I have a contract with Sevilla, and I am happy here,” Adams recently said while addressing reports linking him with a move away from Spain.

The former Montpellier striker has seen his stock rise significantly over the past year after scoring 10 league goals and providing three assists, helping Sevilla avoid relegation while also becoming a regular for the Super Eagles under Eric Chelle. His performances have pushed his market value to around €15 million, although Sevilla are expected to demand considerably more if they decide to sell.

Several clubs from the Premier League and Ligue 1 are believed to be monitoring Adams’ situation, while reports in France have also linked Marseille with the Nigerian striker. However, no club has yet submitted an offer matching Sevilla’s asking price.

For now, both Sevilla and Adams appear to be on the same page. The Spanish club are open to doing business if their valuation is met, while the Super Eagles forward is prepared to continue leading the attack should no suitable bid materialise during the transfer window.
