Kelechi Iheanacho continued his impressive goalscoring form in Turkey, finding the net again as Bursaspor defeated Keçiörengücü 4-2 in their Turkish 1. Lig encounter on Sunday.

The Nigerian forward scored Bursaspor’s third goal five minutes into the second half, maintaining a remarkable run that has seen him score in 12 consecutive league matches.

Iheanacho’s latest strike further underlined his importance to Bursaspor as they continued their push for promotion.

The former Leicester City and Sevilla striker has now recorded 16 goals and three assists in 12 league appearances this season.

His consistent performances have made him one of Bursaspor’s most influential players since joining the Turkish club.

Bursaspor’s victory also strengthened their position at the top of the league table, extending their winning run to three consecutive matches.

Iheanacho will now look to continue his goalscoring streak when Bursaspor face Bandırmaspor in their next league fixture.

The 30-year-old will also hope his strong club form strengthens his case for a return to the Super Eagles squad ahead of Nigeria’s upcoming international assignments.
