Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho just keeps finding the net. The Nigeria striker scored again as Bursaspor beat Pendikspor 2-0 on Monday, stretching his scoring streak to 11 consecutive league matches and keeping him at the top of the Turkish football conversation.

Bursaspor took control early at the Atatürk Spor Kompleksi, with Halil Akbunar opening the scoring in the 10th minute.
However, it was Iheanacho who turned the headlines his way. Two minutes past the hour mark, he rose unmarked inside the box to head home a cross from Lincoln, doubling the lead and adding another chapter to a streak that has become the talk of Turkish football.
The goal took him to 15 for the season in just 10 league appearances, with three assists alongside them.

It also extended a run that has already rewritten the record books. Iheanacho first broke Bursaspor’s own club record earlier in October, passing Fernandao’s eight-game scoring streak from 2014-15.
Then, with a brace in a 3-0 win over Muğlaspor on October 15, he went past the Turkish top-flight record of nine straight scoring games, a mark shared by Metin Oktay since 1962-63 and Saffet Sancaklı since 1995-96. Monday’s header pushed the streak to 11 without any sign of slowing down.

Kelechi’s return from a quiet spell at club level to this kind of consistency has reinforced his case as one of Nigeria’s most reliable forwards heading into the team’s upcoming fixtures.
The win lifted Bursaspor to second place in the table with 25 points, just one behind leaders Kayserispor.
Iheanacho and his side will look to keep the momentum going when they travel to face Keçiörengücü next Sunday, with the streak, and the title race, both firmly alive.
