Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze is facing a long spell on the sidelines. The AC Milan winger has a hip problem. According to an Italian reports, he could be out for at least two months. That would rule him out of Nigeria’s two AFCON qualifiers against Tanzania next month.
The trouble started after Milan’s 3-2 win over Atalanta last weekend, when Chukwueze complained of pain in his left hip.
He then missed training on Wednesday, the day before Milan’s Europa League trip to Bournemouth.
He has since seen a specialist and started a course of injections. Another check-up is due in 10 to 15 days.

The two-month figure isn’t official. It comes from Sky Sport Italia’s Peppe Di Stefano, who said there is a real risk the layoff “could last at least two months.”
Corriere della Sera, via MilanNews, reports he may not be back until the end of the year. Milan haven’t put out a medical statement, and no exact diagnosis has been made public.
Milan boss Ruben Amorim has been careful. Speaking before the Bournemouth game, he said:
“Chukwueze is a little bit different. I will see in the next few days,” as quoted by Football Italia.
That “different” was a nod to Gonçalo Ramos, who had scans on a calf problem. His MRI came back clear, and Amorim called it nothing serious.

Chukwueze as been a regular this season since returning from his loan at Fulham. He has two assists in eight appearances across all competitions.
Milan are short of options on the flanks. Matteo Gabbia and Alexis Saelemaekers are both out long-term and the club is reportedly considering recalling Zachary Athekame from his loan at Lyon.
Everything now hinges on the reassessment in the next 10 to 15 days. If the injections work, the timeline could shorten.
If not, Chukwueze could be out until the new year, and he’d miss a big chunk of Milan’s season too. Milan will decide on their cover in the meantime.
