Ademola Lookman has spoken about the challenge of adapting to different roles at Atletico Madrid this season, describing it as a process he’s actually enjoying even as he settles into life under Diego Simeone.

Speaking to SportyTV, the Super Eagles winger opened up on how Simeone has used him across multiple positions since his move from Atalanta, rather than sticking him in one settled role.

Lookman has featured on the left wing, through the middle, and as a supporting striker at various points this season, and admitted getting to grips with the shifting demands hasn’t been automatic.

Speaking  via SportyTV , he said:

For me, the challenge is to learn these different positions and understand how I should play with and without the ball.”

“That is another aspect that must be learned and adapted to. 𝐈 𝐞𝐧𝐣𝐨𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 and understanding the game even more.”
