Turkish giants Trabzonspor have stepped up their pursuit of Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze after reportedly submitting a €15 million bid to AC Milan for the Nigerian international.

The Black Sea Storm are actively strengthening their squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign and have identified Chukwueze as one of their priority targets to bolster the right side of their attack.
According to reports from Turkey, Trabzonspor are exploring different deal structures, including an agreement that could initially see Chukwueze arrive on loan with an obligation to make the move permanent if specific performance-related conditions are met.
The 27-year-old remains under contract with AC Milan until June 2028, but his future at the San Siro has become increasingly uncertain following an inconsistent spell in Italy.

Chukwueze joined the Rossoneri from Villarreal in the summer of 2023 after an outstanding stint in La Liga, where he established himself as one of Spain’s most exciting attacking talents. Milan paid over €21 million to secure his signature, while Villarreal had originally signed him from Nigeria for just €500,000 six years earlier.
Last season, the Super Eagles winger spent time on loan at Fulham in the Premier League in search of regular first-team football. He impressed with three goals and four assists in 23 league appearances, reminding clubs across Europe of his explosive pace, close control and ability to unlock defences with his trademark left foot.
Trabzonspor building a strong Nigerian core
Trabzonspor are preparing for a demanding campaign that will see them compete in the Turkish Süper Lig, Turkish Cup, Turkish Super Cup and UEFA Europa League after lifting the Turkish Cup last season.
The club already boasts a significant Nigerian presence, with striker Paul Onuachu, defender Chibuike Nwaiwu and veteran winger Anthony Nwakaeme all part of the squad. They have also been linked with another Nigerian forward, Rafiu Durosinmi, as they continue to strengthen their attacking options.
The arrival of Chukwueze would further reinforce that Nigerian connection while adding proven European quality to Trabzonspor’s frontline as they target silverware both domestically and on the continental stage.

No agreement has been reached between the two clubs, and AC Milan are yet to issue an official response to the reported €15 million offer. However, negotiations are expected to continue in the coming days, with Trabzonspor hopeful of convincing the Italian giants to part ways with the Super Eagles star before the transfer window closes.
