Nottingham Forest have officially unveiled their new away kit for the 2026/27 Premier League season, with Nigeria international Ola Aina among the players used to front the launch. The Super Eagles full back was pictured wearing the new strip as Adidas and the club rolled out the design, giving Nigerian fans a first proper look at the shirt he is expected to wear on his travels through the new campaign.

The new away kit carries a dark green primary colour, a deliberate nod to the club’s Forest moniker that departs from the off white lace inspired design used the previous season.

Consequently, the shirt features an all over printed graphic that adds a subtle texture across the fabric, while bright red Three Stripes run along the shoulders to break up the green base. Meanwhile, red piping has been applied to the collar and sleeve cuffs, a detail that Adidas says provides a sharp and cohesive contrast against the dark green backgroun.

The shirt will officially go on sale from August 14, and supporters eager to see it in full detail can check out the [complete rollout of images on Footy Headlines](https://www.footyheadlines.com/8872942804/nottingham-forest-26-27-away-kit-released.html).

Aina’s involvement in the launch reflects the standing he now holds at Nottingham Forest. Since joining the club as a free agent from Torino in the summer of 2023, the former Chelsea academy graduate has established himself as a regular fixture at right back, combining defensive reliability with an eagerness to push forward and support attacks. As a result, he has become one of the more recognisable faces of the club’s commercial and marketing output, a role underlined by his appearance in the new kit imagery.

Nigerian fans, seeing Aina front the new away kit is another reminder of his growing profile in England, where he remains one of the most consistent Super Eagles players playing in the Premier League. His importance to Eric Chelle’s squad has grown over the past year, and his continued visibility with Forest, both on the pitch and in commercial campaigns, further raises his profile ahead of Nigeria’s push for 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualification.

Consequently, his form and fitness heading into the new Premier League season will remain of keen interest to followers of the national team, particularly with defensive options already being tested elsewhere in the squad.

Nottingham Forest are set to wear the new away kit for the first time once the 2026/27 Premier League season gets underway later this month. In the meantime, the shirt becomes available for supporters to purchase from August 14, while further promotional content featuring Aina and his teammates is likely to follow in the build up to the campaign.

Nigerian fans will also be watching closely to see how Aina settles into the new season, especially as Forest prepare for another era under Nuno Espirito Santo with continental football back on the agenda.
