Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge this summer, with Italian side Como 1907 showing interest after Crystal Palace ruled out a move for the Super Eagles-eligible centre-back, sportcabal.com reports.
According to Italian transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, Como are monitoring Tosin as they look to strengthen their defence ahead of their first-ever UEFA Champions League campaign under Cesc Fabregas.
While the former Fulham defender is not the club’s first-choice target, he has emerged as a realistic option because Chelsea are willing to listen to offers.
The Blues are expected to trim their squad before the start of the 2026/27 season under new manager Xabi Alonso, and Tosin is one of the players who could be sacrificed. Having joined Chelsea on a free transfer from Fulham, any fee received for the 28-year-old would represent pure profit.
A potential move to Crystal Palace has already collapsed after the Eagles rejected Chelsea’s attempt to include defenders in a deal for Maxence Lacroix. Reports claim Palace had no interest in signing Tosin or any of the other defenders offered by Chelsea.
That development has strengthened Como’s chances of landing the Super Eagles-eligible defender. The Serie A side are also pursuing Trevoh Chalobah, but with Chelsea demanding over €30 million for the England international, Tosin could become the more attainable option.
No official bid has been submitted yet, but with Chelsea open to a sale and Como searching for defensive reinforcements, Adarabioyo’s future could soon lie in Italy.
