The Super Eagles will hold a closed-door training session in Uyo this  Sunday morning before boarding a flight to Bissau, where they face Guinea-Bissau on Tuesday in their second 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Team media officer Promise Efoghe confirmed the session takes place at the practice pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium. Head coach Éric Chelle and his squad are due at Victor Attah International Airport by 2pm, with the flight to Bissau set to leave an hour later.

The team only got a light recovery session in on Saturday night before ramping things up again on Sunday, with all 24 players in camp taking part.

Tuesday’s match kicks off at 5pm Nigerian time at the Estádio Nacional 24 de Setembro in Bissau. Nigeria will need a positive result to keep pace at the top of the group, given how little separates the three chasing sides.
