Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi could be set for another major step in his career after reports emerged that two Premier League clubs have registered their interest in signing the Olympique Marseille star this summer.

The Nigerian midfielder only joined the French giants from Belgian side Zulte Waregem earlier this year, but his impressive adaptation to life in Ligue 1 has already attracted attention from England. Reports indicate that two Premier League teams have made approaches to explore the possibility of signing the 23-year-old during the ongoing transfer window.

Super Eagles and Marseille midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi

Nnadi’s rise has been one of the most impressive stories involving Nigerian players in Europe over the last three years. After beginning his professional journey in Bulgaria with Botev Plovdiv, the midfielder continued his development in Belgium before earning a move to Marseille in February 2026. The French club paid around €6 million to secure his signature, viewing him as one of the continent’s most promising young midfielders.

Despite arriving midway through the season, Nnadi quickly established himself as a valuable option in Marseille’s midfield. His composure on the ball, defensive discipline and ability to dictate the tempo of matches earned praise from coaches and supporters alike. Those qualities have now placed him firmly on the radar of clubs in the Premier League.

Marseille, however, are not believed to be actively seeking a sale. The Ligue 1 side consider the Nigerian an important part of their long-term project and would likely demand a significant fee before entertaining offers. With the midfielder still under a long-term contract, the French club remain in a strong negotiating position.

The growing interest is another indication of how rapidly his reputation is rising across Europe. The former Flying Eagles midfielder has already broken into the Super Eagles setup and is regarded as one of the country’s most promising talents in the middle of the park. His performances have convinced many observers that he possesses the attributes needed to succeed at the highest level.

A move to the Premier League would undoubtedly be tempting, but sources close to the player suggest his immediate focus remains on continuing his development at Marseille, where he is expected to play a bigger role next season. The French club are also preparing for another campaign with European ambitions and view Nnadi as a key component of those plans.

With the summer transfer window now in full swing, interest in the Nigerian midfielder is unlikely to disappear anytime soon. Whether Marseille can resist the advances of English clubs could become one of the most intriguing transfer stories involving a Super Eagles player in the coming weeks.
